Dance show
Tonight was the dance show my daughter takes part to every year, as the grand finale to her year in a dance class.

Even though this may sound more than surprising, I quite enjoy those shows and not (only) because of parental pride! The dance teacher, Stéphanie Porcel, is very very good and she manages an incredible one-hour-and-a-half program over the different groups. The themes and the musics are always in perfect coherence with the choreographies and it is intrinsically good, even with little ones running on the stage.

Last year, the show was part of a larger happening organised by “Seine de Danse” on the steps of La Grande Arche, in La Défense business district west of Paris. Several teams were involved simultaneously and, despite a heavy rainstorm, the dance went on and produced a magical moment with hundreds of dancers mixing their black-and-white choreographies on the white stairs…
