Xi'an's Og

This morning, the snow was falling heavily enough to make driving a nuisance (I mean, more than usual!) and so I biked to work using the bike path that runs all the way to Paris (and getting my ice climbing gloves out of my bag for this occasion!). It was pleasant and presumably faster than using the car, although biking in fresh wet snow has something in common with biking on wet sand… On the way back, the crunchy sound of harder snow under my tyres was  a true pleasure! Good training for the ski week starting this Saturday!
