It’s so nice to see Jerry honored here. I have fond memories of meeting him and his wife Bunny in the MCQMC conference series. Jerry’s work on particle methods was from a time when they really were particles (neutrons or photons) for nuclear shielding and medical applications. I’ve been going through his book lately to understand early work on particles, but I never saw that dust jacket before.
