not-so-new bike!

$Since I was told by my repair shop that my default Go Sport Scrapper bike had a bent fork, presumably caused by a car driver moving the lock bike to make room for their car!, with a repair cost above the original cost of said bike, I started looking for a new one, but could not find a close enough equivalent in terms of lightness... I had bought it in 2015, after the Décathlon mountain bike I had borrowed from my son got stolen for a baguette! And after using the road bike of an airbnb host in Oxford made me appreciate the gain in weight, despite the icy roads of Oxford at that time. After a few days of not finding anything to my taste, I moved to used bike websites and despite the huge fraction of lemons zoomed on a close copy of mine, reflecting that if it did not work, I could at least switch the forks, at a lesser cost anyway. The deal worked much more smoothly than expected since the seller delivered the bike to my (PariSanté office) door the day after I bought it (for a mere 100€) and it was in a good enough shape that I could use it right away with no body part exchanges! The `très bon état' tag on the website was overly charitable but I am now riding the new one every day, with the former one stored for spare pieces.$
