Here is an approximation to a fractal cabbage called Romanesco I saw in the local grocery last afternoon and bought for the beauty of it! (Having no clear idea on how to cook it… Presumably like cauliflower.)

the best I could find in English … don’t forget garlic, not explicitely listed among the ingredients. You can add chili in the frying pan if you like.

Grazie. I will try this next time, instead of the steam version (which is crunchy and tasty!) I like the idea of “save the water for the pasta”…

I actually used the leftovers in a risotto and it worked out well. Microwaved risotto, of course!
