Footprints

While on a skilift (in the Alps) yesterday, I saw a surprising phenomenon created by the wind: animal footprints appearing in reverse, due to the dispersion of the lighter snow around. This inversion of the usual perception of footprints was quite impressive, I thought. It was as if the animals had walked under the snow! (The picture is poor quality, thanks to cold and wind!)
